Question: Do I need an MBA in order to be Assistant Brand Manager at P&G?
Now your question could be considered in a broader sense, which is: do you need some kind of specific or superior preparation to be an Assistant Brand Manager? And while my first answer stands true, I did struggle a lot when I started. You can read about my first year here:
It was hard and it took me time to learn what need to be true to succeed in what was my first job in Procter & Gamble. I’ve collected what I learned at the time, added those lessons to those of my business partner Anna Lundberg and to those of 30+ executives and managers and co-authored the book How to Succeed in Your First Job (discover the book here >>).
It should help you in case you do decide to start a career in Procter & Gamble or in another FMCG company.
Good luck, and enjoy the ride!
